Stop & Shop 9/29

Stop & Shop had a couple of great sales this week. I made it to the store right before closing on the last day of the weekly sales, so I didn't have time to poke around like I sometimes do. This was an in-and-out stick-to-the-list trip. I know the percentages are low compared to some of my other posts, but grocery trips are always the most expensive.

Coupons used
(2) Birds Eye steamfresh frozen veggies: Reg $2.50 Sale $2.00 - $1/2 mfr coupon = $1.50 each
McCain french fries: Reg $2.89 Sale $2.50 - $1/1 mfr coupon = $1.50
Grande multigrain tortilla chips: Reg $2.99 Sale $2.50 - $1/1 mfr coupon = $1.50
(2) Tofurky deli slices: Reg $3.49 - 2x $0.55/1 mfr coupon (doubled to $1.10/1) = $2.39 each
Cheerios 14oz: Reg $3.19 - $0.50/1 mfr coupon (doubled to $1/1) = $2.19

Coupons not used
Nature's Promise (store brand) 9 grain bread: Reg $3.39 Sale $2.50
Silk soymilk half gallon: Reg $3.19 Sale $3.00
Stop & Shop frozen fruit 12oz mixed berry: Reg $3.79 Sale $2.00
Bananas: 1 lb @ Reg $0.69/lb = $0.69
Tomato: 0.27 lb @ Reg $2.99/lb ($0.81) Sale $2.49/lb = $0.67

Also brought my own bags (2 @ $0.05 credit each) and used a $1 off frozen food catalina from previous trip.

On the items I used coupons for, I saved 40% off regular prices and 32% off sale prices.
On the non-coupon items, I saved 25% off regular prices.
All together, including bag credits and the catalina, I saved 37% off regular prices and 26% off sale prices.
